Application period: March 3, 2025-May 2, 2025
Scholarship Application Requirements:
- Be a current Michigan resident
- Must either be a high school student graduating in 2025 with a minimum grade point average (GPA) of 3.0 or a current full-time college, trade school or university student with a minimum GPA of 3.0 and be able to provide current school transcript of grades.
- Complete application form
- Write a short essay (500 words or less)
Think about how ready you are for a successful financial future. Do you feel prepared, why or why not? Share one specific thing you wish you had learned about money earlier in life. Talk about how you're going to learn it now and how it can help you do well in the future. - Provide one letter of recommendation
- Provide official transcripts

- Drop off your printed application packet (containing application form, short essay, letter of recommendation, and official transcripts) at any Financial Plus Credit Union Branch office by 5:00 p.m. on May 2, 2025
- Mail your printed application packet to the following address post-marked by May 2, 2025
